The Nihongi, one of the japanese stories of the creation of the universe goes like this: « The first phase of the Creation is presented in that manner: an unstable amorphous tiny island surrounded by the sea, and, in the middle of this island, a Reed. From this Reed will be born the gods, and their birth symbolizes the different stages of the organization of the world. This reed is the germ we noticed in the middle of the cosmic egg. It is like a vegetal Grund, it’s the primary form of the Mother-Earth. »
